help build confidence, widen social activity and can provide support in
line with the customers needs:

|
Open to anybody over the age of 50 who has recently been discharged from hospital and would benefit from a little help to rebuild confidence and resume daily life. We have trained volunteers who can provide a regular visit on a weekly basis for up to 6 weeks. They will have time to listen or discuss issues of concern. In appropriate circumstances perhaps an accompanied walk to the local shops or even around the block might help to regain lost confidence. It may be that an introduction to local activities might prove beneficial. The service is free. |
